Saturday 9: I Must Be Seeing Things
1. Have you ever watched something unfold, that as you watched, you could not believe what you've witnessed? Our stray kitty, Tasia, having her kittens--watching a birthing is such a miracle and seeing these four beautiful babies come into the world was an amazing gift.
2. What is your favorite city in the world? Why? Woodstock, VA. It's like this little slice of heaven--in the middle of Virginia! Who knew?? We stopped there one year enroute to or from PA/TN, I don't remember which way we were headed, and I just fell in love with this quaint little town snuggled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The surrounding mountains are breathtaking, the town itself is sleepy, quiet, and serene. I could definitely live there quite happily...if we weren't already headed to New England--definitely looking forward to life by the ocean and historically steeped Massachusetts!
3. What is the strangest film, to your sense of reality, that you have ever seen? That would have to be the Butterfly Effect, I think--what a crazy movie...need to watch that one again...
4. It seems that the older that you get, the less you want the hassle of seeing a live concert. Who is an artist or a band that you'd actually pay to see? I would still go see Rusted Root anytime but Adele...I would die to see Adele live.
5. When was the last time that you lost your temper? Haha, living with a stubborn, self-centered, entitled ten year old, this is a daily thing.
6. When you were little, did you think "sex" was a bad word? No, because when I was little no one talked about sex. Ever. Until you had 'the talk'...
7. What does your smart phone do that really surprised you when you loaded the app? So, I don't have a smart phone (yet...) I WANT the Galaxy Note because of all the groovy things you can do with it--you can actually handwrite notes on it! And ask it questions and it ANSWERS you!! Whoa! Yeah...once this contract runs out, buh-bye Verizon!!
8. Have you ever been attracted to someone that you should not have been? (Feel free to take this lame question any way that you please.) Bosses. Something about men in authority positions...mmm, yummy...totally inappropriate but still...
9. Will you see the new "The Three Stooges" film? Didn't even know there was going to be one, so I'd say, um, no.

Ha! I love and sympathize with # 8 - been there and totally inappropriate!
ReplyDeleteFrom the age of 12-17 I was always losing my temper at my girls on a daily basis. It's over now!
ReplyDeleteI just watched a dog give birth via Ustream. It was pretty cool.
