It seems I was a little more productive than I thought last week (which is a good thing, right??) The
Diva's Challenge this week is to use
Bridgen-this chain of bridges tangle. Simple enough, right? Here's my first shot:
|
I don't know the difference between Hollibaugh and Spaanders, really--looks like one big tangled up Bridgen... |
And my second go at Bridgen went like this:
|
Bridgen, Golven, Fish Net, and Florz |
Then these are the other things I played around with all last week-in a bit of a spiral mood:
|
Spiral Crescent Moon |
|
Inapod and Pais |
|
Onamato Spiral and Finery M-not crazy about the Inapod center section |
|
Crescent Moon Spiral, Sez, Floatfest and Fengle |
There were a couple other horribly gone wrong tangles--but I've learned from them all, which is the whole point--that and having fun and 'escaping a while'...Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you next week!
I like how distinct your lines of Bridgen are so crisp and clean. I love your tile! Your other ZIAs are really wonderful!
ReplyDeletedawn - you have some really beautiful work here! i love the next to last tile - looks like one giant, blooming flower - it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are all very beautiful. If I have to pick one that appeals to me most it will be teh 'spiral srescent moon.

All your tiles are so beautifully unique ! Lovely ;)
ReplyDeleteYour bridgen is very geometrical, and your crescent moon very curvacious. You have a great range to create lovely zentanles.
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job on all of these. I didn't understand your first comment about Spaande (sp) but I like the tile. I can't pick a fav. Thanks for your comment on my blog. Also, I truly hope I will get the opportunity to meet you in September at the CZT training workshop. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHey Linda =0)
DeleteI thought Hollibaugh would make a great fill for the Bridgen, then I saw Spaanders and thought--hmmm...these are awful similar! I guess there's a lot of patterns that are pretty close...So much to learn! Fingers crossed I make it in Sept! =0)
I love them all, you do great work! The second to bottom one is also my favorite. I have to say, though, that I think the inapod fits in perfectly and makes the perfect fill for that section. It's beautiful like all the rest. Oh and I'm absolutelty in LOVE with fengle these days - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery imaginative...and pretty!
